I had my revenge..against the apple strudel!!
I made it again today and it was definately MUCH successful than the first time. Although the filling still flowed out during baking and got the strudel stuck on the baking sheet, which made cutting and removing the sheet from the cut pieces very difficult later...
No choice la...don't know how to stop the filling from flowing out as the dough got to be very very very thin - paper thin, otherwise the pastry would be very thick after baking.
Also fried bee hoon for lunch! I was so surprised that it was a success. I was not confident as even MARCUS struggled with it...hee..he tried to cook it during SL's Christmas dinner and it was not very well done. First time the 'chef' 失手...:D. (Hmm...if don't count the chao tar soup during Christmas 2007 :D)
