1. I cannot understand why the banks' hotlines are always busy. Every day of the week and every minute of the day. I have to wait for at least 3 mintues, that is if I am lucky, before someone would come to the line. The 'best' that had happened so far.. --> I called citibank on Saturday and I waited and waited. Then a gentleman picked up the call and AFTER he made me verified all my particulars I went ahead to pose to him my enquiry, he said 'Sorry Mdm, I am afraid I am not able to answer your query as I am only a front desk officer. Your call was forwarded to the front desk because all the operators are busy at the moment.' I was like WHAT?! Make me spend all the time pressing this button and that button (and I had pressed the button to enquire about credit cards matters) and now I am directed to a front desk officer who made me verified everything and then tell me he could not answer my query?! What a laughing stock man! In the end I had to make another call...
2. Went to Myphosis at Bishan on Sunday. Wanted to get the pants that I saw the day before. However they had no more stocks. The salesgirl was kind enough to help me call a few other outlets to check. They had a new piece at Parkway Parade but they would only allow me to reserve it for 1 day. They refused to make any leeway when I told them that I would definately collect it on Tuesday. I called Parkway Parade outlet myself the same night at 930pm (I purposely call at closing time!) and they said the same thing. Then I told them 'ok lor since you all so inflexible then I call the first thing tomorrow morning (Monday) to reserve then I can collect it on Tuesday lor...'. The salegirl replied 'hmmm ok la Mdm, we would make it an exception just for you this time'....Well well...what can I say...haha..
