Busy weekend and off day!

Made pineapple tarts and kueh bangkit on sunday. Elaine and Marcus came over to help too! When Elaine left we decided to continue to make the kueh bangkit since I had already fried the flour the night before....Met with 'misharp' when we were making the kueh bangkit because the stupid plastic mould that I bought at Poon Huat could not work. So in the end we decided to use the cookie cutter instead. That explained my gigantic kueh bangkit....>.<''' However, I felt that it still tasted good! Somemore got 'melt in the mouth' feeling wor.....:D.

Before Marcus and Elaine came over, I cooked pasta for them and lunch for hubby because hubby don't like to eat pasta. Sigh, the pasta was a disaster. Bad recipe. Ended up Elaine improvised by adding in ready made spaghetti sauce...

So, the whole day was spent cooking-washing-eating-washing-baking-washing-baking-more washing-cleaning up...














Sliced off abit of my nails when cutting the pineapples. If the knife position 'sengngey' abit more then it would have been my finger....:D







Did so much of cleaning and washing up till my nails also became translucent...:D


Monday off! Went to gym then cut and soft rebonded hair. Had a nice session and chat at gym with Cal..But aiyo..the soft rebond like never rebond. Am going back to the salon again on next Monday to re-do it. If not I pay $$ for nothing ah!! Not to mention the record breaking 3 .5 hours I spent there....don't know why so long also, for re-bond, treatment and cut.

Then went to meet Audrey and Elaine at City Hall.
