To hack with posts that reads 'End of ?? day of selection'!

Not important to follow up on 4th day, 5th day etc of selection anymore! I've got my flat! Haha! Although not a 5-room as what we wanted, but at least better than nothing lor. Just make the best of it and see what to do 5 years later.

I really do not want to be reminded of the process / homework before the selection; and on the days of selection before our turn, the 'painfulness' of refreshing the webpage every minute everyday to check the status, being down in the dumps when flats we shortlisted were taken up by people in the queue in front of us.

Indeed I've learnt some stuff during this 2-3 months and also realised how a certain Stat board in Singapore sucks; and because of the way that certain Stat board operate, the whole process was more 'torturing' than enjoyable. Even now looking back, I maintained that it was not enjoyable!!!

I remembered that on my selection day on 04/01/08, I felt numb and when a flat that we shortlisted was taken, I was like 'orr taken already huh? Ok lor...'kindda feeling. Numb liao. Haha. Even as we sat at the HDB lobby at 2pm, our first choice flat (we shortlisted about 10 out of the not so many choices left) was taken. Sigh....

Ok la..don't want to talk about that anymore.

Here's what a ID (ay interior designer hor not intellectually disabled!) friend did up with the specifications we gave. Would be making some modification as I've changed my mind about knocking down the kitchen wall. Also consulting other IDs in the meantime.
