Don't know what to put as tittle...
Really emo today after lunch lor. It was meant to be a very happy lunch because I bought a watch that I liked very much. Then came back to find EIGHT transfer files plonked on my table!!
Really lor..GC, I am really sorry that you had to come and apologise to me earlier. I felt bad that you had to do that because I understand it was difficult for you too. BUT I really cannot accept it when you came and tell me you don't know how to solve the problem lor.
See...the problem had been there for so many years...since the time I was co-managing another hostel. It must have been THREE long years. What had those sitting inside the cubicles been doing?! Can I suggest that you spend SOME of your weekly management meeting trying to solve this problem? Don't you know that many officers had 'suffered' because of this? If I had the solution to the problem, then I could occupy one of your cubicles?
Too bad I am the type who would show face one. I don't care what you think of me. Because if I don't protect myself here, nobody would. It's either I die or I open my mouth to voice out my displeasure. I had weighed the odds and I decided that protecting myself is the better option.

Foul mood this morning
They dumbed 4 transfer files on me this morning (or I suspect last night sneakily after I left office) Damn foul mood lor. I always wonder what is the use of feedback when they don't listen at all lor. And one of the case have not been seen for 1 month. PO has not been signed and has multiple issues lor. What the hell.

Then again...
then again...it was not a so happy day..
Because I received 2 pieces of news from work. One was about additional portfolio...on top of the2 3 'projects' currently. The other piece of news is not so convenient to talk about it here now.

1. Shaiffa and Eva commented that I looked 'exceptionally pretty'! Shaiffa asked if I just went for facial. I was thinking at the back of my mind 'wah you mean the facial so 有效 meh?' Because I did go for facial and touch up my 植眉 on Monday！I pointed out to them my alien eyebrow and that was when they noticed the difference. However Shaiffa still insisted that there was something different beside the eyebrow :)) Ok I'll just take it that I should go for facial more often lor!!!

My 'exciting' home visit
Just came back from gym and home visit. The home visit lasted 1.5 hours! The parents just had so much to talk. The mother mentioned at least 2 times that she just returned from work and was tired. I was tired too lor but they just kept talking I cannot leave! The moment she commented she was tired she would carry on to talk about something else! -.-'''
I was so tired I unwittingly kept 'staring' at her when we were talking. Ok actually I found her pretty so I was looking at her alot :)) And she told me 'Aiya you don't keep looking at me I just came back from work, so tired and messy'. The best was there was a black out lor. The parents said they had never encountered that before. Hack away!
Ok HDB FINALLY approved the hacking of the wall. If they still did not I would have complained against them again!
The wall looked like this after an hour..very fast..
Actually the house looked instantly bigger with only a small hole on the wall. Then Choo got to throw a VERY big bucket of cold water and said that it would look smaller again after the furniture are in. Aiyoh, Ms Choo, if your house is small mine is miniature huh? :P Haha.....
The renovation will proceed very fast once this wall is hacked away. Yah almost nothing was done for 1 week because the stupid HDB took so long to revert!! Anyway, now ID said the kitchen cabinet will be done by end of this week!! :))

It's difficult being an instructor
Julian had body jam class today. Saw him talking to a lady right after class. He was still panting lor..poor thing still got to 'entertain' her. The lady said: 'I think my shoes are abit loose'. I saw Julian bent down instantaneously and touched her shoe. Hmm...instructor must also 包this kind of thing ar?! Tsk tsk...

Tragic
Actually I had long given up reading news updates about Myanmar and China because I found it too saddening.
I just picked up the papers and read abit....read how a mother used her body to cover her baby - she died and baby survived; how limps had to be amputated so that lives can be saved; how a man tied the wife's corpse to his body so that he could ferry her to the taipingjian using his motorbike; how the rescuers rescued a little girl but to have her died on them 10 mintues later; how relatives lost hope of seeing their loved ones alive but only wished to recovery their bodies so as to give them a proper burial; how teachers did not want to leave but built makeshift shelters outside schools because they were afraid that there would be no teachers to teach the kids once the situation became better and lessons could resume; how bodies had to be cremated /buried collectively because it was simply not possible to do it one by one.....etc etc
So sad. I won't read the papers anymore :(

Pulau Ubin!
Just came back from Ubin!
We trekked to and fro Chek Jawa. It took us about 3.5 hours. It was quite challenging having to chase after the children, screaming at them to walk to the left, look out for cars, walk properly so as not to fall, not to walk too far ahead of us etc etc.
Nonetheless they were still quite managable. At one point of time, poor Seth was so tired that he asked: 'can someone carry me?!' We all said no and he obediently continued to walk on his own. :)) We also had a fun time teasing Cyrus for standing 'at attention' when he saw an army-like car passing by. Haha...funny kid....
We ate lunch at one of the seafood place near the jetty. The food was not too bad and reasonably priced. $161 for chili crab, kangkong chili, mixed vegetable, crispy squid, lala, mantou, wuxiang meatball, pork rib, many drinks, 3 coconuts and 2 bottles of beer.

Post party concussion
Woke up at 10am this morning, had breakfast then continued to sleep till 2pm. Almost jumped out of bed lor!
Managed to swim for only 30 mins today :(( because no time....then went to DY and Ker Min's house for their baby's first month celebration. Baby's so cute because she has so much hair! Haha...

Met with the guys at Pump Room at Clarke Quay after gym last night. Haha...had so much fun; and the place was so packed lor. Also met up with Xiaowei who came with her friend Leon from YD. No wonder found him abit familiar.
The foreigners are abit rowdy and some of their male species rather hornY. But a stare would scare them away..haha...Nonetheless there is still a good mix of locals and foreigners. Not like some places which are infested with foreigners lor.

My mac and cheese!
My cheese macaroni turned out well! Or so said Choo, Audrey, Siew Ling, Liza and Marcus! :P
I found it not bad too la...at least it's edible and I created it without a recipe on hand. :))
I was heating up the mac and cheese at the cosy corner this morning and Maria was also heating up her yam stick. She gave me one and it's yummy lor! I asked her for the recipe later and now the yam's in the steamer! Hopefully it turns out good!! :))

I am glad that I managed to 'influence' another gal to join his class and help him earn another fan! The gal was new at pump so she asked me to help her along. After pump class I asked her to join me for combat also and told her that it would be so fun that she would not regret joining. She was hesitant saying that her arms 'are not functioning anymore after the pump!' Haha...however, she still came! And end of the class, she told me that she would be coming again next wednesday! :))

The classic thing that I did today
I went to the gym from home this morning so I left the house in my gym attire. I was bathing after exercise and it suddenly dawned on me 'Shit! I don't remember putting a bra inside my bag when I was packing for gym earlier!'
Yes! I forgot to bring my bra lor! I contemplated going home in a cab first before coming out again to meet my husband but I remembered that there was a lingerie shop at MW. So I tried to cover up with my big bag (thank goodness the bag was big enough!) and went to the shop. Goodness there was so many people walking around lor! When bad things happened there always seemed to be many people around to 'witness'.
Haha..anyway I told the salesgirl what happened the moment I stepped into the shop. She was very nice and tried to recommend a few bras. In the end I bought a bra set. Total damage: nearly $60.
Looking back, it would have been cheaper if I had taken a cab home to change before coming out again!

Dinner with boy
Was trying to decide whether I should go swim or Calvin's class earlier in the day. If only Calvin's class starts earlier I would have no problem deciding. Did not want to stay in office till so late then go gym.
Then toyed with the idea of asking boy out for dinner. Boy said ok, so plans changed. Went to do machines at MW instead then meet boy and his evil half for sushi. 3 of us ate $100 worth of sushi lor! Scary...... -.-'"
