Fried noodles again!!

Fried noodles for lunch again today. It turned out better this time as the noodles and bee hoon did not stick together and become mashed up. Tip: the heat must really be strong when frying.

Wanted to bake bite size ones when I realised the mixture was only enough for less than 20 muffins. Smallers ones not so jerlart and also can offer to more people in the office ma. Unfortunately I do not have small muffin moulds..:D

How come so difficult to upload photos onto facebook and blogger today??!!

What is the rationale??

There is this JO who really treated pee-os like transparent!! Faith and I waited for more than 2 hours in his 'office'!! He mentioned ALL other cases including fresh ones, and put ours last. And I must mention that ALL these cases do not have DCs so no parties were waiting except for the 'client' of course.

Why? Why can't he mention our cases first so that we can leave?? Really not tired also became tired waiting. I had to leave his 'office' at least twice because I got a headache from all the waiting.

Elaine was in another 'office' and she left at 950am. Can see the difference?? Grrr...

Anyway Faith and I decided to have a good lunch after that! Went to Sakae Sushi at Toa Payoh Central, bought KOI and collected my GNC card. Yup anybody needs to buy stuff from GNC let me know!! Got discount! No point paying the membership for another card. I paid because I wanted to buy something quite expensive the other time and it was more worth it to pay for it.










Super BIG bowl of spicy ramen! The manager who served us saw our astounded look and commented: 'only bowl big la'!! Haha...so funny..

Tattoo!!

I love this Dafodil fairy!! And Dafodil symbolises my birth month!! :)) I don't want it to be so complicated...only want the fairy and the dafodils!



Need more time to go check out which tattoo shops offers temporary tattoo....apparantly they can print the tattoo design you want on special paper and ink and transfer it to your skin. Then can test how the tattoo will look like on you!!

Little sparrow!!

A little sparrow flew into my house on saturday morning! Flew right in and rested on my dinning table then my side table at the living room...so not tame hor...got to wake hubby to chase it out of the window!!

A Monday off...

Still had to get busy with a progress report and some office business, but fortunately Elaine was in office to help me print and submit the progress report.

Decided to go to the gym earlier for the afternoon pump class instead of waiting till the evening, especially since Cal's not teaching in the evening too...

After that, wanted to go to Centrepoint to take a look at the birkis since I was at Cathay but ended up running short of time.

Went to do my express pedicure instead then collect my Clarins stuff from Isetan at Parkway. Drank KOI while having my nails done...total bliss!! :))

But I forgot to replace my Isetan card which expired in Sep with the new one they mailed me. I had to go up to the customer service to ask them to still allow me to use the card, since they should have records that they mailed me the new card right?! The lady at the customer service was very nice so ended up I could still enjoy the discount but I had to make immediate payment instead of crediting it to the card.

That's good customer service! And I also like the service at the nail place today, as opposed to the one I went the other time....READ.
Happily wanted to go get a sponge for my new tonic shower concentrate but got distracted by DIVA on the way. Bought lovely earrings and met Ilyana by chance, talked abit and forgot about my sponge entirely :(. Cannot use my tonic shower until tomorrow night liao :(. Oh...and the tonic shower concentrate is really cheap at $36! I thought it would cost above $50! So bought 2 bottles - one for MP and the other to put at Punggol!

4 in 1 earrings only at $13. I like!

The nail art was also at $5 each but it did not feel expensive because of the good service!

The red pouch and small items are my gift set..with purchase of above $150. Also got $15 vouchers....must remember to use by mid-Dec!

Gyming with Faith!

Faith went with me to OGS gym on Friday because we were on a secret mission (cannot say if not wait she kill me!). Secret mission went quite well! Yeah!

Anyway she attended Cal's pump and combat classes. Haha...she got Cal abit frustrated as he kept having to correct her and ask her to put in more effort....but she gave him the 'oh I'm so tired don't bother me' look...wahahaha...

Next morning she sms-ed me: 'I can't move my arms and legs.....' haha....

Was browsing around at Sengkang Daiso when I chanced upon this paper clip for drinks carton. Now no need to use plastic wrap to wrap liaoz! Good!

Alvin's 'birthday present' :)

Made steam yam cake for Alvin last night for him to bring up the plane to eat :) I scared he starve in India la...haha...no la....just wanted to make something for him as won't get to celebrate his birthday since he would be in India.










Of course I did not give him this whole box la! This is the remainder...

Ate it earlier, think it got slightly hardened after a night in the fridge....












Cut my hand again! Was rushing badly because I only started cooking at 8pm and I have to reach airport by 1130pm :))

Met this ex-girl from Tee Pee Girls' Home at Taka yesterday. I left that place 7 years already and she must have been discharged at least 5 to 6 years ago....and she could still recognise me lor!! She called out to me but I nearly wanted to walk away and told her I do not know her, until she muttered out my full name did I hestitate and stopped!!

Hee...in a way feel happy that she could still recognise me la...wahahah....

Faith and I decided to go shopping instead of bee-bee-h last night! Elaine came along with us for dinner at Sushi Teh and shopping for awhile.

Disappointed at the miserable range of birkis at Taka level 4. Bought 2 pairs of shoes at Myphosis instead!!!

After that I felt 'disgusted' with myself as I remembered that I have yet to wear my coach heels and the gold pair of shoes that I bought barely 3 weeks ago. Wanted to blog about this last night but was damn shag after I reached home....fell asleep while searching for more recipes for chewy chocolate chips cookies!! I even missed the repeat telecast of 百万大歌星！！ Ahhhh.....

Body pump: The squat, chest, back, biceps and lunge tracks are KILLERS!! But surprisingly the triceps, shoulders and abs tracks are easy...

Body combat: somehow I don't like the new release. Felt that it is less intense and the moves are abit non-combat..hmmm...maybe have not gotten used to the moves yet and trying to catch up so felt less intense. Well..have to endure for 3 weeks whether I like it or not...so might as well try to like it la....

Oh yes..not to mention they used chicken little soundtrack as the warm up song...faint....it's really funny lor...it's even funnier when Cal sang it...nearly burst out laughing...

Viral infection

Doctor said I got viral infection, and likely to develop cough after the flu ended.

Cannot afford to take MC tomorrow..so sian...

And it's damn expensive now to see a doctor lor...saw doctor once after I returned from Perth, recovered and then today again. Both times the fees were $40+. >.<||| Don't know if it was because I chose non-drowsy medicine.

Self-centered, selfish Y-generation

Was at Daiso and saw this early-20s girl who kicked a packet of snacks away when she saw it lying on the floor! KICKED!! She did it INTENTIONALLY. Her eyes were on the snack, she definately saw it and she used her darn right foot to slightly kick it away so that it would not get in her way!!

She was lucky she walked straight ahead and did not turn back and met my eyes. If not I would have asked her if she was handicapped or something and hence unable to bend down to pick it up!! Almost wanted to run up to her but restrained myself. No point kicking up a fuss with these kind of people. Hor!!!!! Damn angry!!!

Daiso again!

Wanted to buy claypot as I want to cook mushroom chicken claypot rice this weekend. So sad it's out of stock.

Also wanted to buy gingerbread man cutter because Christmas is coming soon. I want to make gingerbread man for Siew Ling!! But cannot find leh.....

Bought many other things instead!!

1. Basket to put all my skin care products.
2. Pizza cutter. Don't know why I bought it. Just thought that it might come useful in future and it's only 2 bucks anyway :P
3. Pie cutter. Also don't know why I bought it.
4. 饺子 maker. Yes I want to make 饺子 soon too!
5. Metal spatula. I wanted a more sturdy one after my plastic one from ikea broke!!
6. Plastic spatula. I thought I should still get a plastic one for scraping!!

Breathless

Suddenly got flu again yesterday.

Still went to the gym today as I thought to go for a light workout and I also needed to go to Daiso to get some stuff anyway. The beauty of classes is that you can adjust the intensity of your workout. Example: carry lighter weights for pump and pull back your punches and kicks for combat :))

But no, I was totally breathless!! Now I know why young and healthy-bodied people can die when they continue to exercise when ill.

Aussie mom gets life in jail for starving daughter

SYDNEY, Australia – An Australian woman has been sentenced to life in prison for the starvation death of her 7-year-old daughter.

Justice Robert Allan Hulme called the girl's death "unimaginably heartless and cruel" as he sentenced the 36-year-old mother on Friday.

The woman was convicted of murder in June. Her husband, convicted at the same time of manslaughter in his daughter's death, was sentenced Friday to 16 years imprisonment, with possible parole after 12 years.

The couple, who cannot be named for legal reasons meant to protect the identity of their three other children, had pleaded not guilty to murdering their daughter.

The girl, known as Ebony, weighed barely 20 pounds (9 kilograms) when she died November 2007. Several doctors testified she suffered the most severe case of malnutrition they had ever seen.

This is just so shocking! Most severe case of malnutrition...weighing only 9kg and she was 7 years old!! My gosh...horrible mother...horrible woman!!

No form!

My attempt to bake biscuits today was met with 重重困难。。。。。

First, don't know why I mis-read the recipe. Instead of 200g of butter, I only added 100g of butter. I suspected something was wrong when the dough simply refused to form. So quickly added another 100g.

Secondly, the dough still did not form as I added the 100g of butter when I had already mixed the flour in. The butter should be mixed with the sugar then the flour added in. So instead of a dough, I got a sticky mixture.

Thirdly, the piping bag did not turn out well. I used the grease proof paper to make the piping bag but because the mixture is so sticky it just would not work well. Very difficult to squeeze out the mixture not to mention the amount of mess. Don't think it is the piping bag's fault but I'd just get a proper piping bag and learn to use it in future!!

Fourthly, I forgot to switch my oven back to 'bake' mode. It was in the 'grill' mode (I made black pepper grilled chicken some weeks back!!). Final outcome?? Damn chao tar 'biscuits'.

I was about the throw the remaining sticky mixture away, thinking the sticky mixture is the problem, when I suddenly saw that the oven was in 'grill' mode.

Fortunately my 2nd batch turned out well.










Damn chao tar grilled biscuits.Yucks.

Finally! The shapes are weird because the piping bag did not work well because of the sticky mixture. It should be shaped like a log with chocolate swirl on top. No mood to do the chocolate swirl. Will do it the next time when everything is perfect!!

Hardworking me!

Cooked fried noodle and bee hoon for lunch, ate lunch, mop the floor of the entire house, wash bedsheets and mattress protector from 1130am to 230pm! So hardworking hor?!

Nice stick on nails that Kat bought for me from BKK!! Sad that she did not managed to get the 'superwoman' logo tee-shirt though. But nevermind can always buy it next time!!

Collagen

Have heard many people mention about mineral powder so decided to go buy it to try. Realised that there is collagen in it. Excited to try tomorrow! :)
Also bought collagen eye patch!










Just went for facial on tuesday and happy that my beautician said there isn't a need for me to use so many anti-aging products yet, but 防不胜防嘛！Better be kiasu if not later regret!
