Tragic

Actually I had long given up reading news updates about Myanmar and China because I found it too saddening.

I just picked up the papers and read abit....read how a mother used her body to cover her baby - she died and baby survived; how limps had to be amputated so that lives can be saved; how a man tied the wife's corpse to his body so that he could ferry her to the taipingjian using his motorbike; how the rescuers rescued a little girl but to have her died on them 10 mintues later; how relatives lost hope of seeing their loved ones alive but only wished to recovery their bodies so as to give them a proper burial; how teachers did not want to leave but built makeshift shelters outside schools because they were afraid that there would be no teachers to teach the kids once the situation became better and lessons could resume; how bodies had to be cremated /buried collectively because it was simply not possible to do it one by one.....etc etc

So sad. I won't read the papers anymore :(
