Nope I did not do any sea sports.
Body pump and combat made me seasick. How so?!
Well, Paragon finally resolved the flooring issue; and they did so by elevating the existing flooring. Result: the whole studio floor is springy!! It's like stepping on the spring board lor!
Wa....although kinda get used to it after 5 minutes into the classes, really felt terrible during the first 5 minutes of each class. Every time someone walked past, it's as if a wave just came by.
Wasn't too bad at pump class as there was limited movement and no jumping.
But during combat class...oh man....was really really really scared that the whole bloody floor would just collapse!
5 minutes into combat class there was a loud crash at the back of the studio. The whole stack of step boards had crushed onto the floor!!! We got to re-arrange them. Later, the step boards at the sides of the studio came crushing down too. Not to mention that the mats at the sides of the studio also jumped as we jumped.
The class was not full as people might not know that classes had resumed. Imagine next week when there were more people. Aiyo really dare not think. Think I'll stand near the door next week. Easy to escape should anything happen! :P
Why would they decide to elevate the floor this way? Now they have to put all the weights outside the studio and the pathway leading to the studio is already very very cramped lor. Not to mention the inconvenience as we had to walk in and out of the studio to get the weights and then to put in back after class.
But that's not the worst. The worst is that they stored the dumbells in the Minds and Body Studio - the studio where classes like yoga and balance are conducted. Must be out of their minds. So each time we have to walk to that studio to take the dumbells. How much more insane can they get I wonder.....
