I finally booked my wedding photo shoot today! From Bridal Zone, but we got the package from the Suntec Bridal Exhibition.

Package at $2228 includes the following:

Outfit and makeup:
- 6 changes of outfit for me; brand new wedding gowns, evening gowns and traditional costumes for indoor shoots at no additional costs. Only 2nd wear outfit for outdoor shoots.
- 3 changes of outfit for hubby; but not including shirts and tie.
- changes of makeup and hairstyle for indoor shoots. Additional cost of $10 per pair of fake lashes and $15 per bottle of ampoule applies.

Location:
- 3 outdoor locations and 1 indoor (studio). We can choose the outdoor locations.

Album and photographs:
- big album with 50 12x18 inches photos. Forgot to ask for the exact size of the album but it's rather big.
- photographs on photograph papers and album has no 'gaps' in between the pages.
- album cover: normal-designed pvc covers or cover embossed with our photo or acrylic cover with our photo printed on it.
- 3 mini albums with 22 5R photos each. The photos are duplicate copies from the 50 pieces from the big album.
- 2 10R table tops.
- 1 15x40 inches or 20x24 inches 'bed head' photo, either on canvas or on photograph paper. If we choose photograph paper (not so old-fashioned) then it would be laminated then framed.
- CD-Rom with the 50 photos from our album, all properly photoshopped.
- another CD-Rom with all other remaining photos, but they would only do normal cropping for those photos.

Scanned through some of their gowns and am pleased with what I see. Most likely would schedule the shoot in early march. So I still have some time to go on diet! Haha....

Before that would have to schedule choosing and fitting of gowns. Quite excited leh!

Anybody has good ideas for outdoor locations??

Oh, we were toying with the idea of going overseas for the shoot. But it really is too much of a hassle. For eg: we can choose the first round of our photos there, but after the first round they would do all the photo-shopping. Then we have to do another round of quality check before giving them the go-ahead to do up the album. And all the communication would have to be done via email. I can already imagine all the miscommunication and amount of co-ordination needed. Enough to put me off already. Somemore have to pay for courier to send the albums over.

We also went to The White Link booth. Their package is no where comparable to the one we got. Their package comes with very little photographs so you can imagine that they are all set to earn your money from the additional photos that you would end up taking because you have so little to begin with. Although after some negotiation and the lady agreed to give us 36 photos, upped from the initial 18 photos, I still think that we cannot do much with only 36 photos and we would end up spending alot of money to buy additional ones. This is only 1 aspect of hidden cost and I hate to think that there definately would be more.

GA!! I forgot to ask if they would provide trial make-up during fitting!! Must call and ask liao!!
