The place is definately not big and with many rides, but still substantial to occupy at least half a day :). We reached at 4pm and we really did not have time!! If not for Mr V, don't think we would have chance to take the junior roller coaster ride :).
Divided into Hollywood, New York, Ancient Egypt, Sci-Fi City, The Lost World, Far Far Away and Madagascar, the place was easy to navigate.
In Hollywood we went to:
Pantages Hollywood Theater - basically songs and dance performance by Universal Monsters such as Dracula, The Mummy, Frankenstein, Bride etc in an indoor theater, Broadway style.
Lining it's streets were famous Universal characters such as Frankenstein, Marilyn Monroe, Betty Boop etc available for photos taking.
Next we went to New York:
Lights, Camera Action - incredible boat-house set staged up to allow the experience of the force of hurricane, that made windows break, ceilings shake, lights fuse, wind sweeping in from the sea, debris and cargo ship storming towards you and finally fire engulfing the sea....incredible.. I like! :))
It was here that we met Mr V.
After that, we ran all the way to The Lost World:
We wanted to catch the 'Waterworld' show - needless to say, it was based on it's namesake blockbuster production. Live water show with death-defying stunts, explosions and firings, what else but to save the damsel in distress. It was a sheltered performance but be ready to get wet if you sit in the front rows.
After the show, KS was extremely hungry and we stopped by to have a turkey drumstick at Far Far Away. Soooooo yummy! :))
Mr V called and told us he could let us get on the rides as VIPs! Meaning, we do not have to queue!! So off into Far Far Away we went!!...
..and hopped onto the Enchanted Airways!! This was a junior roller coaster ride (well..the big Battlestar Galactica at Sci-Fi was closed!!!). Anyway, it was good enough to make KS scream and adrenalin sore sky high!!! Wahahaha...and I must say that sitting in the front row was really something! Scary! We could see the steepness of the track before the coaster took it's plunge! Every twist and turn was exhilarating since the last time I took such rides was 2 to 3 years ago at HK Disneyland!! Ahh...the burst of adrenalin...:))
We flew to Ancient Egyptian next:
...straight onto the Revenge of the Mummy without allowing time for our fast-beating hearts to recover! Indoor roller coaster here we come! Travel, or should I say plunge! into total darkness on this thrilling psychological ride! I must say that this ride was interesting. There was a point when the ride stopped and suddenly plunge backwards! We were not expecting it to plunge backwards! And Mr V had told us to take the back row, saying that it would be more fun! Yes, more fun that was! :))
We bought a photo of us on the ride (which I lost afterwards :( ). Mr V had to rush back to work and we were on our own again. We decided to go on another round of Mummy as we found out later that the queue was not long!!
Also impressed by the automatic lockers. Free for first 45 minutes.
After that we wanted to go to The Lost World for the Jurassic Park Rapids Adventure. But we were told that it was closed for maintenance. How sad.
So we went back to Far Far Away into the theater for a 4D Adventure with Shrek and Fiona :) I had always loved to watch such 3D and 4D effects!! I love!!
After that we walked around to take photos. Mr V called and said he would join us to walk around! More photo takings for abit then off to dinner we went! Wanted to have pizza at Loui's NY Pizza Parlor, but it was closed :(. So we went to Mel's Drive-in instead. We had alot to eat with the $50 vouchers! The chocolate milkshake was fan-ta-bu-lous!!
Our last stop after dinner was at the Universal Studios Store - as we had vouchers to spend. I bought a Universal Studios Singapore mug. Paid $0 after the vouchers and staff discount from Mr V :)
Walked around abit outside, bought Reese's Peanut Butter Cup (yumss!) and went to the Casino. The entrance was nothing impressive. Had expected a more classy entrance but was disappointed. It looked very cina-ah-tiong. Maybe the inside is impressive?
I was so tired that I insisted on taking a cab home from Vivo! Could not bear the thought of dragging my almost dropped-dead body onto the train!!
Alamak!! How to go Bangkok in future like that??!!
Crazy shots!
The standard must take picture!!

KS's Woody Woodpecker lunchbox!

KS and his new love, which he said he would use to pack a packet of drink, a fruit and a sandwich to school everyday..hmm....

My Universal Studios Singapore Mug :)
