I think the flame was too strong and the sugar got too charred. So when I added in the lotus paste, everything got too charred and became an ugly dark brown paste.
Threw the whole thing away as I did not have time to think of how to rectify it. Luckily I have another 100g of lotus seeds left.

So in the end only managed to make 9 durian snow skin mooncakes. The green tea one could not materialise this week too as I could not find green tea powder at NTUC.:(
