DAY 3 TUESDAY 28/08/07

2nd Day at the symposium. *The ghost of AP Tan Ngoh Tiong* resurfaced again. He was one of the presenter for the workshop that we signed up for. Before he end of the workshop he suddenly came up to me; touched me on the arm and shoved 2 pieces of paper up my face and said: 'fill this up and pass it back to me. It's the membership for Commonwealth Organisation for Social Work (COSW). And remember that we would be having a meeting later after the workshop.' Hmm..so isn't it self-explainatory for *The ghost....*?!

Ok ok anyway, AP Tan said that COSW is an organisation similiar to SASW; for all social workers who somehow and for some reasons are not eligible for organisations such as SASW who is very strict with their membership. They are also opening their membership to social workers outside of the commonwealth countries. For list of commonwealth countries look here --> http://www.electionalarmclock.com/commonwealth. So anyone who has any friends who are social workers or aspiring to be social workers can refer them to this site -->http://www.sasw.org.sg/cosw/. Membership is free for now.

Oh yes..forgot to mention that there were 2 very irritating delegates from the Philippines in our group. One of them kept disturbing Cheng Leng and asking her about the places to visit in Singapore when others were presenting. Another one did not contribute yet dare to volunteer me to present to the whole group after the small group discussion!! @#$%^&@#$!! Damn irritating!!

We went to KLCC in the evening. Ate A&W for dinner; and it was really cheap - RM$20 for an upsized set (burger, fries and root beer float) and another burger with root beer float.

Bought my prima vera heels there. Wanted to buy a top at Dorothy Perkins but they do not have stock anymore. Would have to try the outlet at Mid-Valley tomorrow. Also wanted to buy another bag from Dorothy Perkins; saw it in Singapore before but in the end did not because I reckoned that I have more than enough bags already!! haha...Couldn't remember what else Cheng Leng or I bought. Think I didn't manage to buy any other things but Cheng Leng bought something. The skyline was really beautiful at KLCC at night.
