The family conference in Court went well today. Today is the first time I had a mother coming forward to hug me on top of thanking me. The feeling was so nice. I think this is some of the things that kept some of us going strong in this job.
No matter how overwhelming work is; no matter how difficult it is to discuss cases with bosses who can't seem to understand what you are trying to say; no matter how difficult it is to face bosses who already have their own mindset but just have to talk with you to make it seems that they are democratic; no matter how difficult it is to explain to bosses who sometimes do not understand no matter how much you explain; no matter how difficult it is to face bosses who expects you to find out the motivation why your cases offended yet after finding out they tell you you cannot take your cases' words at face value; no matter how difficult it is to make bosses understand that you are not taking things at face value but it is just because there is no way you can verify the genuine-ness of the motivation as told to you by your cases on why they offended; no matter how difficult it is to deal with bosses who thinks that we are dorgy enough to believe what the cases say entirely without processing the information before coming up with the assessments of the cases; no matter how difficult it is to make bosses who do not understand understand that during discussions we provide them with certain facts of the cases first and that they should listen on without jumping to conclusions...
Sigh.. I know alot of people won't understand what I am talking about. I am just in one of my frustrated moods...
But it's ok, I am sure things will tight over soon...further I should think that doing these media cases one after another would make me famous too?! haha...
Oh had a nice lunch with Marcus, Liling and Chin Choo at Waraku. Bought a skirt and necklace at Central Shopping Centre too. See there will always be something happie in life isn't it :).
