Afternoon Court session went smoothly. My case J*** H** was sentenced to RTC. The JO was harsh and told him that if not for his age he would have been sent to prison and caned. The parents took it well; and I was thankful that the parents understood my position. Had eye contact with the boy before he was sent to the holding room and managed to utter 'be good in there' to him and he responded with a smile and nod. I hope he really makes the best of time there and change for the better.
Well, I really can't believe that I faced such a lousy Defence Counsel today. Goodness he can't even get the facts right, mummbled so much that I can't even hear him properly and instead of coming prepared and putting a strong mitigation for the case, he said that the mitigation, which sounded to me like what any 3 year olds on the streets could say; was 'upon instructions from the clients'. He repeated that at least 3 times. He gave the impression that he said that so that the JO would not take it out on him for mitigating for the case. He was absolutely lousy and unethical for not being prepared.
Went for my body massage after Court. Went for jacuzzi first and I almost fainted. I swear that that was the scariest time of my entire 30 years of life! It felt worse than being drunk and I felt I could die any moment. Everything was spinning, I can't see clearly, wanted to vomit and felt like passing motion all at the same time (I am not joking!). Thankfully I got better after some rest. Then I wanted to flag a cab to go home, got hijacked by 2 people who went in front of me to get the cab. They should be thankful that I had no energy to walk forward to give them a piece of my mind. Now my head is aching, and I still have reports to do. Sigh..
Let's pick a tittle:
- Scariest day of my life
- I almost died
- The curse of the Jacuzzi
- A bad head day
- Black Tuesday
- The day when I felt worse than being drunk
- The world is spinning in my head
Anymore suggestions?
