Went to contour express with the gals - Kat, Yimei, Choo and Wendy for a trial exercise session yesterday. It was quite fun exercising together although we were unanimously not very impressed with the facilities.
Then we went to eat lunch at a nearby hawker centre; afterwhich we went to icon. Bought a pair of nice shoe there; only $29.90. I think I am going mad with shoes recently because there is going to be 2 big shoe cabinets for me in my new house! :P
Then Choo and I went to Fitness First at Paragon. My intention was to accompany Choo to check out the package and also to see see look look for good deals of course. Ended up we both signed up for 12 months membership. Joining fee of $300 was waived but we had to pay a one time administration fee of $88. Monthly fee is $138 with unlimited access to all 8 clubs (and all those to come in future) in Singapore and other countries. Payment is made monthly. There is also a photo membership card. Haha Choo and I both looked dumb in the picture - blame it on low quality web cam and unglam background.
As a result of this BIG HOLE in my pocket, I have decided to forgo my neverfull LV bag. It will have to wait till the next bonus in July!! Hopefully Choo, Kat, Alvin and I (talking about me mainly, because I am the least motivated among them!) would motivate each other to go exercise. Yes, we are all in the Fitness First family!
After that we went to Wisma as I wanted to buy a present for Iris. She is turning 8 on 31st Mar! March baby; same as the beautiful aunty aka ME! Wanted to buy a pair of barbie doll skates but could not find any. Decided to go to PS to continue my search while Choo went off. Also no luck. Came home and went online to search and found out that they have it in Toy'r Us! I should have gone to the outlet at Paragon! Really dumb!
Oh, and I went out of the wrong entrance at Douby Ghaut MRT. So, I went back into the station to exit from the link to PS because it was raining and I did not want to cross the road, Gosh! They actually charged me 66 cents for walking inside the same station!! !@#$%^&*
