Went to the gym in the morning then to facial at The Adelphi.
The facial was nearly 2 hours long; cost $68. Quite affordable for a monthly affair. What I like the most was that the beautician did not hard-sell any products or recommend the most expensive package. She even gave me a sample anti-wrinkle serum because I complained about forehead lines. Hopefully this is not one of her 'tactics'. I'll try again next month and would most likely continue to go if she did not try to hard-sell!
Back to the gym. The gym was surprisingly crowded for a Monday morning/afternoon. There were a few tai-tais (coming to think of it they don't really look like tai-tais as they are quite young and don't seem like those who don't have to work type) and many expats (ang mo) hanging out at the gym. Don't they have to work? Maybe they have flexible working hours or it's their Monday off? Anyway can't help but suddenly felt that Singapore is paying the expats alot of money every month to go gyming! :P
As for me, I am neither a tai-tai nor an expat. It just happened that it was my Monday off. Sad right?! :P
