All the various contractors came down to the house today to have a look at the defects. There were many of them lor! Different people is in-charged of different things - windows, tiles, doors, parquet etc. Also activated the star-hub point.
Sigh, it will take about 3 weeks to clear the defects. Hopefully they will not take all 3 weeks so that my reno can start sooner.
All along I had wanted close to blood red, black and dark brown as my theme. Today my ID proposed 1) to use a darker red instead of blood red, 2) to have the kitchen done in black and stainless steel colour (colour only not steel!)
Hmm..quite a refreshing idea because I suddenly felt that the house would be too dull with only these 3 colours everywhere. Worth considering! Will see her drawings and material proposal next monday!
